What? This building was sold in 2007 by Essex County Council to a private developer. Discussions have since been ongoing to ensure that a high quality development is carried out. This will bring this important heritage building back into use. Proposals for the site and building will be mixed use.
When? A planning application is expected early in 2010.
Who? A private sector developer who is working with Colchester Borough Council to improve this area of the town centre.
