What? A new area of accessible green space just off the High Street will be opened up for local people and visitors to enjoy.
When? Overgrown greenery and weeds were removed in November 2009 by volunteers from the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers (BTCV) and personnel from the Military Corrective Training Centre (MCTC). Though there is no funding at present it is hoped that the second phase will bring new seating and lighting to this area.
Who? Colchester Borough Council has worked in partnership with the Diocese of Chelmsford and St Peter’s Church.
